The awakening of nature:
"Déjeuner sur l'herbe" by Schlossberg
Springtime. The air is still. The sun appears, washy and pale, at first. Timid sunbeams warm us and tickle our noses. The first bloom awakens within the earth; the flowers are reaching out for the glittering sky of March. The promise of a gaudy summer hangs in the air. Shake the pillows, toss the feathers and let them fly through the open window. Schlossberg invites you for a "Déjeuner sur l'herbe" with the new spring collection 2010.
Frosty ice blue turns to crystal blue, bright pebble white shimmers, soft willow green purifies the soul – these colors are natures" invitation. Lured by sunshine, we follow the birds' singing. We find a beautiful little spot on a serene clearing, unpack the goodies from the wicker basket, spread our plaid... there is no better way to greet the spring than with a picnic out in the green!
Airiness, romance and naturalness characterize the new designs by Schlossberg. Draw a deep breath, smell the scent of birch bark and crocus. Let yourself fall into an ocean of flowers. Enjoy nature's sweet embrace. Indulge in "Déjeuner sur l'herbe".
Bloom
The design BLOOM unfolds the splendor of a flowering meadow: Agapanthus, buttercups and other spring flowers join to form a round dance, an invitation to lie down and give in to this explosion of flower magic. The flowers are lovingly painted with sweeping brush strokes which gives this sumptuous piece its lightness. Argent shows the colors of the March on slate gray background with a hint of blue: clear and invigorating, while the first fire of summer flowers on fresh greens is represented by Limette.Grace
GRACE shows a timeless arrangement: Freesias, anemones and larkspur form a diagonally arranged row, which stands out elegantly against the background. Several hues of multicolored shadows give this design its warmth and depth. Orchid presents itself in pure, majestic white that simultaneously radiates tenderness. The elegant purple shade of Lila lends a gentle grace to the flower motif.Mailis
The impressive flora rules on MAILIS. Colorful flowering branches with fruit stalls are spread generously on the clear background. This design is fresh and dynamic, the viewer is challenged to discover real or fantasy flowers within the abstract forms and shapes. The design Celeste combines different shades of blue with an earthy red-brown, while Cyclame captivates with a fruity red-violet.Piume
PIUME is spring at its best: Soft down and feathers are borne by the wind, slide across the duvet and casually settle down on the fabric. Transparent pastel colors give the design a careless indifference, the clever mix of colored pencil and watercolor technique emphasizes the lightness of the design. Polaire is freshness and coolness with blue-gray tones, whereas Primrose‟s muted reds grant the design a hidden sensuality.Phillis
The dandelion is a very popular spring flower - in particular due to its playful seed head. PHILLIS retains that playfulness and presents the dandelion in a modern and exciting interpretation: the delicate brush strokes give substance, yet show an airy grace. The forms seem to dissolve within coordinated hues and they conjure up the beauty and transience of the true dandelion. Palmier dominates with cool green pastels, combined with a trendy purple. Porcelaine shows orange-red tones on white background, reminiscent of a summer sunset.
